The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC), in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Scientific and Technical Information Program
solicits graduate student papers for consideration on the agenda of its annual conference. The purpose of the competition is to promote the
generation of new ideas and research in areas of library and information science that are of strategic importance to DTIC and its customers.
In addition, the competition will provide a forum for increased understanding and collaboration between DTIC and graduate programs in library
science and information science. Selected student authors will be invited to present their papers at the DTIC 2010 Conference, March 22-24,
2010, in Alexandria, VA. For information about possible topics and how to participate, see http://www.dtic.mil/dtic/annualconf/Paper2010.html.
