Info. Services Librarian Position - Muncie, IN

INFORMATION SERVICES LIBRARIAN -- Professional position available

Responsibilities: provide specialized reference service to the campus
and local community through in-person, telephone, online, and virtual
chat means; provide individualized research consultation; participate in
collection development for print and electronic materials; work
collaboratively with colleagues and faculty to develop, promote, and
provide library instruction and information literacy.

Minimum qualifications: MLS/MLIS/MIS degree from an ALA accredited
program at time of appointment; working knowledge of basic Microsoft
Office applications; experience with electronic information services and
library systems and their applications for reference and instruction;
experience with and strong commitment to reference service and library
instruction; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to
work some evenings and/or weekends.

Preferred qualifications: Additional advanced degrees; experience with
Web page design and development; experience with federal government
publications; experience with legal reference.

Salary to $42,500 plus excellent benefits.
