Event for Charleston-Area SLIS Students

Hi All,

If any of you are interested in Zora Neale Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God, look to the Charleston County Library's page for great programs. If you are interested in helping out in any way with the project, or even getting your feet wet in Readers Advisory services by doing a book discussion circle, PLEASE contact me at ASAP. We are a great community of readers...including You! These programs, collectively called the BIG READ, are a result of grant funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and the establishment of community connections.

I look forward to hearing from you.

A posting on the LISSA Forum has just been put up about this event in the South Carolina board. In the future, this sort of event will just be posted by individuals on the forum based on the state it is taking place in. This blog posting is just to get the word out, and to give everyone the opportunity to understand how the forum can be used by distance ed students to meet and organize among yourselves.
