BLINC (Business Librarianship in North Carolina) Preconference: "Demystifying Business Reference" Tuesday, Oct. 16th, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

BLINC (Business Librarianship in North Carolina) invites you to join us
for a hands-on preconference called "Demystifying Business Reference".
Whether you're a new public service person facing business questions,
someone wanting to update your business skills, or a new business
librarian, this BLINC preconference will help you learn the important
concepts, research strategies, and print and online resources.

Participants will learn about four main topics:
1. Companies
2. Investments
3. Industries
4. Consumer Marketing

Time: Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 8:30am-4:00pm.

Place: in a computer classroom in the Hickory Metro Higher Ed Center,
not far from the convention center.

Cost: 50$ for NCLA members, and $60 for non-members.
